Multi level projects follow the same form working pattern as that of low rise building sites. What sets it apart is the vertical shifting of formwork equipment for repeating, typical structures. Therefore heavy load bearing shoring towers D-15 with Multiflex superstructure for non-typical slab and table formwork with telescopic props or framed props D-15 are often demanded. For vertical and horizontal shifting of slab formwork, adequate gear is necessary. GHI supplies lifting fork 1.5t with a vertical member suitable to lift table out of the open building when the next immediate floor is still under shutter.
Repeating column structures with variable cross-sections up to 105 x 105 cm are best built with panelised column formwork like TriTec TTS for fast and safe pouring of concrete.
While cores and stair cases usually don’t climb ahead, TriTec panel system with easy striking corners are an option for stripping and shifting the full core wall set with one crane lift only. If the core area is small, TriTec Light is the most economical solution. It can be combined with TriTec Light panel wall formwork for wall heights up to 4.50 m. This is ideal when crane capacity is limited and manpower is affordable. Fair faced concrete finish for walls can be achieved with an appropriate formlining chosen by site for the timber/waler system like Flex 50.
For safe working, additional platforms are needed especially at slab edges. GHI recommends the installation of CS240/CS180 working platforms. These are affordable and well-proven solutions.
