Industrial building sites are characterized by heavy structures being constructed as steel reinforced concrete in the fastest and safest possible manner. Formwork solutions have to be provided with a high degree of engineering, rigid equipment, safety as well as interdisciplinary skills.
As a guideline in choosing the most appropriate wall shutter system, you may refer to the chart “Which wall formwork system to use...” Generally when fair face concrete finish and optimization of ties is demanded, Flex 50 is the best choice.
For versatility, walls heights up to 9.90 m can be formed with TriTec, especially if usage is on short term basis. Small applications like footings, walls in hollow structure or high elevated beams should be built with TriTec Light. Often times, single sided SB support brackets are used to concrete against soil, rocks, etc., below the zero level.
Slab formations are done either with Multiflex timber beams superstructure or in combination with multipurpose steel waler as primarily beams from the Flex 50 program. These are supported by telescopic slab props or shoring tower system D-15. Both these system can take up to 200 kN per set, exceeding 100 m high, if necessary.
Safety platforms or climbing scaffold supporting double- or single sided wall shutter is performed with approved CS240 climbing scaffold.
As services are highly demanded in engineering projects, GHI offers every project the usual documentation, design drawings, shop drawings, static calculations and site supervision. All other project-related services can also be tailor-made and provided on case to case basis.
All standard components are available on rental basis in selected countries. Please contact your local GHI branch for further information.
