Civil engineering projects such as bridges are characterized mainly by their individual shapes and heavy geometries. As such, they require not only individual static calculation but also customized formwork and false work.
It is a GHI philosophy to maximize the formwork systems that we can offer. This is to replace expensive and individual formwork usually done by sites. This means that load-optimized and geometrically adapted support structures can be built from our entire range of standardized and rentable system components.
Mainly, these consist of GHI D-15 as false work, superstructure by customized IP-beams or  multipurpose waler out of the Flex 50 program, and H20 timber beams. Web is formed by Flex 50 wall formwork components and joined to the superstructure by Push Pull Struts PPS. Moreover, compatible and existing customer equipment can be designed/factored in for further cost reduction.
As services are highly demanded in engineering projects, GHI offers every project the usual documentation, design drawings, shop drawings, static calculations and site supervision. All other project-related services can also be tailor-made and provided on case to case basis.
All standard components are available on rental basis in selected countries. Please contact your local GHI branch for further information.
