GHI Table form System

Pre-assembled slab formwork units to cast the same slab geometry repeatedly within a short period

At a glance
  • Completely pre-assembled Multiflex elements into rigid units for faster shuttering
  • Most economical for multi-storey buildings with typical and large decking lay-out
  • Technical solutions are tailor-made to site requirements
  • Also available in four standard sizes for optimum utilization on short-term hire  basis
  • Horizontal and vertical shifting gears are available at very competitive prices
  • Safe system engineered in Germany, load-bearing parts conform to leading standards

The GHI Table form system is used to form large concrete slab areas. Standard tables are pre-assembled according to the required grid size so that the same slab shape and its relative arrangements is formed repeatedly (such as in multi-storeys) within a shorter timeframe. Because the formwork components are not dismantled separately every time they are moved or shifted, enormous savings in labour costs and faster cycle is achieved. For infill zones, it can be used in combination with GHI Multiflex slab formwork system.

The standard Table form is assembled only once using H20 Beams as primary and secondary beams, supported by props and with plywood as sheathing. The primary and secondary beams are connected with the use of table heads. Moreover, this system uses 70% less parts compared to traditional scaffolding. This translates into more savings because of lower inventory and less storage & handling costs.

Prop-folding option is given to manoeuvre the Tableform over drop or downstand beams on to the next floor. It can also be cantilevered at the edge of the slab and used to shutter drop beams.

Moving and Shifting the GHI Table form System

The GHI Table Trolley and the GHI Table Lift are complementary equipment to enable fast and convenient moving and lifting of the GHI Tableform to the next form working phase.    The Table Trolley is used for moving the GHI Tableform horizontally, i.e. from one zone to another in the same floor level. It is designed to carry load of up to 1.50 tons and is extendable up to 3.90 m high. The Table Lift is for shifting the GHI Tableform vertically from one floor level to another (usually to the next floor). It is capable of carrying GHI Tableform weighing 1.25 to 1.50 tons.

Different technical solutions available to meet site requirements

1.  For regular mid-size slab area up to 15 m2, it is recommended to use a GHI Tableform unit that has built-in GHI Universal Table Head to accommodate the H20 timber beam. Moreover, this solution is compatible with all standard and alloy heavy duty props.

2.  A GHI Tableform unit with the built-in GHI Universal Table Head fitted with the GT 24 girder is suitable under the following circumstances:

  • to cast  larger areas from 15 m2 up to 30 m2
  • to cast non typical slab design (trapezoidal in shape)

3.  When deep drop beams restrict the standard GHI Tableform from being shifted out of the building, the Uniportal Tableform with prop folding option is the most suitable solution. In all other cases, the   features as mentioned in point 2 apply accordingly.
