GHI Multiflex Slab Formwork System
Quick shuttering – especially for non-typical floor plan and height
At a glance
- Most versatile for all types of slab
- Economical due to longer life span and fewer parts
- Safe system engineered in Germany and load-bearing parts conform to leading standards
GHI Multiflex is the ideal slab formwork system for multi-storey structures with non-typical floor plans at any floor height. The system can be designed to suit special shaped slabs, where there are no regular grids or patterns. It is also ideal for irregular slab design, e.g. oval, round or sloping areas. The system is particularly suitable if crane movement is restricted like in basements, core areas or general infill zones.
The system prides itself in using fewer parts compared to traditional scaffolding. As a result, the search (for a component) is minimized, interim storage is simplified and worksite waiting time is reduced to a minimum. Moreover, fewer pieces to handle mean faster assembling and dismantling to be done by the site workers.
The system is engineered in Germany and parts are manufactured according to leading German standards, which are controlled and certified by well-respected European laboratories. Its main elements are H20 beams, props, cross heads, tripods, and plywood. Each component is created in harmony with one another that they are assembled to yield a compact unit.
The high quality solid H20 beams are manufactured in Germany under strict European standards. The 20 kN and 30 kN props are tested to classes D and E standards respectively. They are available in 300 cm up to 550 cm maximum extension length, in 50 cm increments. The cross heads come with a self-locking device to prevent it from slipping out of the prop when the set is moved. The universal tripods fit any type of props. All main steel parts are hot dip galvanised for extended service life.
For cantilevers or higher elevations starting from 5.50 m up to 100 m, the Multiflex slab formwork system can be used with the lightweight yet heavy-duty GHI D-15 shoring system. Requiring a minimum footprint of just 1 m x 1 m, each tower can support load of up to 220 kN and it consists of six components only. With its self-locking device, every tower is easy to erect and dismantle.
