GHI’s CS240 (platform is 2.40 m wide) and CS180 (platform is 1.80 m wide) climbing systems serve as framework brackets for supporting the wall formwork in the construction of multi-storey vertical concrete elements in high-rise structures such as core walls, shear walls, lift shafts, stair shafts and bridge pylons. These are highly productive systems designed to increase speed and efficiency while minimizing labour and crane time. This is made possible by the fact that independent operations can be carried out regardless of the work progress in other surrounding areas.
The articulated joints in the CS240 and CS180 offer speedy precision alignment of the formwork in all directions. In the case of CS240, the formwork can be retracted by approximately 75 cm, which provides for a 2.40 cm wide safe working environment, capable of workload up to 0.50 kN/m2. In case of restricted workspace, CS180 and CS130 may be utilised.
After the initial cycle at ground level, the climbing systems are connected to the building at all times. Therefore safe operations can be carried out even at higher altitudes over 100 meters up to 72 km/h wind speed.
The CS240 and CS180 can be easily adapted to the GHI wall systems such as TriTec, TriTec Light, Flex 50, Roundflex or to any other similar formwork shutter system for that matter. Concreting height is possible up to 7 meters. If required, suspension platforms that are adjustable in 10 cm steps can be set up to recover climbing cones.
Because the system uses only fewer parts, fast and simple pre-assembly can be easily done even in the yard. Formwork and climbing platform are transported as single unit.
The standard individual components of these systems are available for rental in selected regions. Please contact your local GHI office to find out if this option is available in your area.
